By increasing technology, you will see a clear increment in devices becoming wireless. When it comes to operating your computer, what should be the best choices of gadgets you can buy for real? A Wireless Mouse is a thing to consider in this regard. If you are tired of getting dragged by a cable attached to your mouse, then cordless mice are the best choice. Dream how incredible this experience would be in the presentation, bash party, or any event if you are using a wireless mouse.
As there are many platforms for selling products online, you can check one of our hot-selling Wireless Mouse price in Pakistan. We offer exactly what you have been longing for!
Let see what a wireless mouse is!
A wireless mouse is a gadget that requires no wire to send signals from a mouse to a computer. Instead, it uses radio frequencies to send signals. Wireless Mice are dependent on infrared innovation uses radio waves to send a signal to the computer. These are very convenient to use from one Pc to another Pc, can be used from a coincided distance. It provides us an organized wire-free desktop. A wireless mouse is really handy for taking with you when you travel with your laptop.
Probably you are at this point wondering how this gadget will work without any connection with your Pc. In this blog, we will discuss the working principle and a few recommended wireless mice you should buy without assumptions.
Based on signals some mouse uses radio frequencies and others use Bluetooth technology:
Radio Frequencies
A wireless mouse have both an RF transmitter and receiver so it can work on radio frequencies also. The RF transmitter is located inside the wireless mouse. All the movements and clicks we do are transmitted through radio signals to the receiver.
The RF receiver receives the signal connected to the computer’s mouse input and decodes it to send it to the computer.
Bluetooth
Many wireless gimmicks use Bluetooth technology for their work. The range may vary from 30 to 33 feet. A Bluetooth uses a certain frequency hopping that chooses frequencies with little to no interference.
Components of wireless mouse
Buttons: Every mouse has two buttons, Left/Right to manipulate any object or text.
Laser/LED: Allows movement on x and y-axis directions and its parallel.
Mouse Wheel: To scroll your document page up or down.
Circuit Board: In this board, all electronic components are embedded.
Wireless Receiver: It requires the USB receiver for getting broadcasted signals such as (infrared, Bluetooth, radio signals) then give input to the computer.
Battery: Battery is used in wireless mouse for working, if the battery gets down then the mouse will not work properly.
Microprocessor: It is embedded on the circuit board of the mouse. The microprocessor is the brain of a mouse without it every component of the mouse is workless.
Working Principle of Wireless mouse
The working of a wireless mouse is very simple. As the wired mouse is directly connected to the computer to get signals with the help of a cable. In a wireless mouse, on the other hand, the means of communication of signals is through radio frequencies RF. It consists of a transmitter and a receiver. A Transmitter is located inside the mouse that sends electromagnetic signals or radio signals which are encoded data. It transmits encoded data to the receiver which is a USB device connected to Pc. The receiver then accepts the data, decodes it, and sends it to the drive of the CPU. Point to ponder (the receiver does not need any battery power it gets energy from the PC). A receiver gives feedback to the transmitter to perform accordingly w.r.t movement change.
Types of wireless mouse
There are three main types of wireless mouse
1. Mechanical Mouse
2. Optical Mouse
3. Laser Mouse
Mechanical Mouse
In mechanical mice, a rubber ball is attached at the bottom line of it to move smoothly over the surface. This rubber ball allows our hands to move freely around any angle. But one drawback of this rubber ball is that it gets dirty quickly with the friction of the surface and offers less mobility. It works properly with mouse pads. By the fact these mice process information slower than usual.
Optical Mouse
You will most often come across this type of cordless mouse. It uses optical light for the movement of a mouse instead of the rubber ball as in a mechanical mouse. It is the oldest and most standard version of a wireless mouse. This version has been proven best by customers although many modern technologies are on their way. These can process information very quickly and efficiently. It functions via infrared technology you can see a red beam by turning the mouse upside down. It is the infrared sensor that is responsible to transmit the locations of a mouse to your computer. The main advantage is that it does not require a mouse pad for accurate movement.
The main component of the optical mouse is LED and CMOS sensor. They produce this red light that tracks the mouse movement. CMOS sensor captures the image and sends it to the DSP. It then analyzes the pattern of the image with 400 to 600 DPI resolution.
Laser Mouse
The last but not the least one is a laser wireless mouse. This is a type of mouse that uses laser light instead of optical light to transfer information. It is considered an ideal gaming mouse for gamers. It also won’t need a mouse pad to function properly. The reason is that this version is the best and highly efficient to transfer information and is reliable. It captures the image with a better resolution of 2000 DPI.
Wireless mice equipped with laser pointers are very useful for directing the audience’s attention. Some wireless mice are also accompanied by various buttons such as play, stop, run a video, and programs on a computer or projector while addressing a seminar.
USB Mouse Including a USB port, any port that transmits data has become a transmission point for a mouse signal. In a USB mouse, a device that plugs into the USB port is used. The mouse sends the signal about its location to the USB device, it then decodes the signal to the Pc to read.
Some drawbacks of wireless mouse
- Wireless mouse requires the battery to operate which will sooner or later not work properly.
- Lower accuracy is sometimes a big drawback for gamers. In the decoding process, a wireless mouse is generally not as responsive to gestures as a wired mouse.
- Gamers in particular might find the lag frustrating. There are specific wireless mice designed for gaming that address the latency issue and have quicker response times.
- However, the lag or lost accuracy with a wireless model will be negligible for most of the users.
- The last one is that wireless mice are more expensive than wired ones.
